Immigration and Customs Enforcements (ICE) has announced the suspension of
enforcements – arrests, detentions and deportations across the U.S. temporarily, due to the coronavirus outbreak. ICE will for in the meantime, focus its attention on arresting and
deporting only foreign nationals with criminal records, and convictions, and those deemed to pose a danger to the public safety of the US. ICE emphasizes that no foreign national will be arrested at hospitals, doctors’ offices, health clinics and urgent care facilities so people would be encouraged to seek treatment if they become sick.
