Alona Dorosh

Alona Dorosh holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Louisville (Kentucky, USA). She also graduated from the International Independent University of Moldova, where she earned a Master’s degree in Law with a specialization in “International and Institutional Law.” Additionally, she has a Master’s degree in Humanities with a specialization in “Modern and Classical Philology” and completed special postgraduate courses at the same university.
Before joining the National Capital Legal Services team in 2013, Alona Dorosh worked for over 15 years in the field of human rights and was a co-founder of one of Moldova’s leading human rights NGOs — the National Information and Research Center “Partnership for Development.” She coordinated projects supported by the World Bank, ILO, UNDP, Soros Foundation, OSCE, Eurasia Foundation, Balkan Trust for Democracy, Open Society Institute, and other international organizations.
At National Capital Legal Services, she specializes in employment and investment immigration, including cases under the EB-1, O-1, EB-5, E-2, EB-2 NIW, H-1B, and P-3 programs. She also handles civil and family matters, including divorce and property division, child custody and support cases, guardianship of minor children and incapacitated adults, as well as personal bankruptcy.
Alona Dorosh is a notary public in the state of Virginia and is fluent in English, French, Romanian, and Russian.
